Verdict

DARTINGTON, twice a winner on the Flat in the UK, was a 25/1 chance on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day but belied those odds with a fine effort when only beaten just over three lengths. He can get off the mark as Morning Logic, who looks the main threat, hasn't run since narrowly beaten in a Killarney bumper last May. Good As Hell, placed twice in point-to-points, is likely to find this too short after making her hurdling debut over 2m6f while Butty O Brien makes her hurdling bow after showing a bit of potential in bumpers.
