In depth

Verdict

Firefox sets the standard having led into the straight and only been collared close home by Loughglynn at Naas. The winner's yard is represented by the newcomer Rule The Wind and Dromahane winner THE GUNNER YEATS. The latter is the mount of Patrick Mullins and has an entry in the championship bumper at Cheltenham so looks the one to beat. Any Road has improved with each run and was a bit unlucky at Fairyhouse while Mint Boy was always travelling well at Corbeagh House and should have enough pace for this.
