Pilgrim Way is versatile having won over 2m6f here and beaten a short-head over the minimum at Cork in April though is probably better over further. Velocity Boy was racing over fences last winter with no luck but ran very well on his return to hurdles at Galway last month. Luckyinmilan was in fine form when last seen over fences in 2017/18 and reverts to hurdles on a 9lb lower mark plus his rider's claim but Joseph O'Brien holds a very strong hand with three entries. The Moyglass Flyer won a Thurles maiden a year ago and could be anything as could Winner Takes Itall, who won a Listowel maiden with a bit in hand. Fightfortheroses has been a short-priced beaten favourite the last twice though doesn't look badly treated for his handicap debut but Wild Desire has gone up 10lb for an easy victory at Gowran. The latter's stable companion QUAMINO scored twice over fences last winter and reverts to hurdling on a 28lb lower mark. He failed to take advantage at Fairyhouse last month but was well supported and gets another chance to gain compensation.
