A very tough handicap but SRETAW made such great strides at Gowran that the daughter of Kalanisi is taken to defy an 8lb rise in the weights and complete the double. Little Arrows is consistency personified but hasn't won since last summer and the assessor has been unable to drop him. Stocktons Wing won a Grade 2 hurdle in February and will be warming up for another successful season over timber though he's by no means out of this. Stephen Hero couldn't handle heavy ground at Listowel on his hat-trick attempt and shouldn't be dismissed back on this quicker surface but Irish Reel appeared well suited by that type of ground when running her best race for a while last time.
