Warnaq, who ended a light first campaign with a victory at Naas, has been in action over timber without showing much. Mokhalad gained his only victory so far at Dundalk and he's been running well there over the winter so has to be respected though it's SO YOU THOUGHT who gets the nod. Dermot Weld's colt won a course and distance maiden a year ago and performed with credit in strong handicap company during the summer so it's a surprise to see him dropped 5lb in the ratings. Inscribe went up 9lb for landing a Gowran handicap in October but it didn't prevent a follow-up at Naas the following month so he's an obvious threat.
