Verdict

CALL THE POLICE makes a quick reappearance after a very moderate effort when back over 3m at Cork on Sunday. His earlier victories over Magnanimity and Foildubh would be good enough for this though he was expected to perform much better last time. Rathlin looked a very useful recruit to chasing when landing a Naas Grade 2 last February and finishing runner-up to Flemenstar in the Powers Gold Cup but he became disappointing and though the selection finished 7l behind him that day he's done better subsequently. Mr Cracker, who won a Grade 2 novice chase at Limerick in 2011, should prove best of the remaining trio.
