Hermann Clermont was racing over fences in very testing conditions in France last autumn so further rain would aid his cause. Stablemate Malton Groove will improve for his debut at Naas in November but PAT'S PICK (NAP) has produced two good runs over this trip and wouldn't need to do much more. Lady Rita was unlucky at Punchestown when badly impeded and looks capable of progress but it's difficult to make a case out for the remainder.
