Verdict

Philip and Luke Dempsey won this last year and Clonbury Bridge has found his form over fences this winter though never looked like winning at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago. Henry De Bromhead has two entries and it's about time PERCY WARNER was showing some form over fences. A winning point-to-pointer and unbeaten in two starts over timber for Gordon Elliott, he's shown nothing in two starts over the bigger obstacles but will be much better suited by today's longer trip. Genois has won over hurdles here but has disappointed so far over fences while Whatsnotoknow was racing over hurdles last winter and may just need this after a long break.
