A low draw is generally favoured here, especially on soft ground, but recent course and distance winner Livingston Range was in stall 16 that day and has another outside berth here, though a 9lb rise looks harsh and he was ridden by a 4lb claimer. Tai Sing Yeh and Little Queenie have the inside boxes and the former is going for his 11th victory on his 90th start. The latter is up 6lb for making all over the track and trip last month and has to be respected while THE SNAPPER looked ideally suited by soft ground at Navan and an 8lb rise may not prevent a double. Transcendental won a Curragh handicap then found 7f and a premier handicap too much for her on a return visit.
