In depth

Verdict

Limerick Lace, a winning bumper and hurdler, has improved with each run over fences and had plenty in hand at Down Royal. She makes her handicap debut but BARNACULLIA's experience may prove too much for her. His latest second in a lucrative handicap at Leopardstown was a cracking effort and he holds Jody Ted on that run. Percy Warner produced a much better effort when stepped up to this trip here last month and should improve further but Gallyhill was beaten ten lengths when runner-up in a novices' race at Punchestown. None of the remainder can be dismissed in a tight-looking handicap.
