Ucanchoose won this a year ago and though entering the fray in fine shape after his Tipperary victory he's 10lb higher and may struggle to complete the double. Patrickswell, Catwilldo and La Canaada filled the first three places at Bellewstown earlier this month and it's the latter who may come out best this time at the revised weights. Lily's Star doesn't win anywhere near often enough and has never scored from a mark this high though she's running well and must be a threat but it's SOUTH RING who gets the vote. She's been gradually making progress and was having just her fifth start when a fine third over 6f here last time with Ucanchoose just in front and she should reverse the form over this shorter trip.
