Jim Bolger won the first running of this last year and Cerro Bayo, a beautifully-bred daughter of Dansili, overcame greenness to make a successful debut at Roscommon in August. Even So made her debut in the race won by BLISSFUL (NAP) at Tipperary the same month where she stayed on well once getting the hang of the job. She showed the benefit with an easy victory at Gowran and should do well this season. The selection followed-up in a Listed contest at Leopardstown, where she had Raven's Cry 5 lengths behind, but then couldn't make the transition to Group 2 company at Newmarket. Lemista won a heavy-ground Gowran maiden while Hamariyna is penalised for a Group 3 victory at Leopardstown and wasn't right when well beaten here next time.
