This excellent prize has attracted a very good field with the reappearance of OUR CONOR eagerly awaited. Dessie Hughes' charge did well on the Flat last summer but really made his mark when sent over timber winning the juvenile championship events at Cheltenham and Punchestown in superb style. Running off a mark of 84 here, he's impossible to oppose despite the strength of the opposition. Ancient Sands enters the fray in superb form having followed his victory over hurdles at Ballinrobe with further successes at Dundalk and the Curragh. He's gone up 8lb for that latter success but can run with a 5lb penalty and his young rider can use his claim. Stony Grey is also in top form though he's 10lb higher than for his Navan victory while Marchese Marconi ran a tremendous race in last week's Irish Cesarewitch.
