BAPAUME tired badly at Fairyhouse on his reappearance and chasing bow and was eased down once his chance had gone. But he ran well for a long way and is a cut above these over timber having placed in the Champion Stayers’ Hurdle at Punchestown back in May. Monkshood has yet to figure over fences though is still preferred to stablemate Cartwright but Press Conference should know more today having finished fourth at Punchestown on his chasing bow. School Boy Hours is another likely to improve and Star Max wasn’t disgraced at Fairyhouse on his first start over fences.
