Three-year-olds have an excellent record in this so ROSE DE PIERRE is taken to maintain her unbeaten record. Dermot Weld's filly has made excellent progress culminating in a victory at this level at Cork in August and, though this is slightly better opposition, she looks one to follow until beaten. Sir Michael Stoute's Intimation looks a worthy opponent as she has improved from handicaps to finish a very close third in a Group 3 at Gowran last time and this slightly shorter trip should be in her favour. Glamorous Approach is taking a big drop in trip after racing over 1m4f at this level but Cool Thunder, a debut winner here a year ago, hasn't fulfilled that promise in two starts this campaign.
