A huge field but few with realistic hopes. Haymount had looked a nice prospect before easily brushed aside by Mall Dini at Thurles. He'll need to do better here as EDWULF (NAP) looks an exciting prospect. Formerly with Ben Pauling, he joined Aidan O'Brien and had his first run for the stable over fences at Navan last month where he was well in command when falling at the last leaving the useful pair Walk To Freedom and McKinley to fight out the finish. This should provide an ideal confidence booster before he heads back to fences. Tuzo battled on well to land a Wexford bumper and should make a hurdler as should Kilbeggan bumper winner Thumb Stone Blues.
