Verdict

Cappella Sansevero started odds-on for his debut at Dundalk and won very easily. He had little to beat but looked a smart prospect and it will take a good one to beat him. That good one might just be WAR ENVOY, who came here as a long-odds-on chance last month and won very comfortably. He's expected to go to Royal Ascot after this and is handed the vote, though his stablemate Dick Whittington is well regarded and his pedigree suggests he should be even better suited to this trip. Intense Style got outpaced over the minimum on fast ground at the Curragh but was staying on at the finish and he's no forlorn hope to get involved in the finish of what should be an informative contest.
