John Brassil won the only running of this in 2010 and his three-times winning point-to-pointer Puddencullinan shouldn't be dismissed with his very low weight. Grey Soldier attempted to make all over 2m1f at Fairyhouse last week but could only plug on at one pace when headed. Paradis De Thaix was in fine form last summer though he couldn't cope with a 7lb rise at Roscommon on his latest start and is 2lb higher here. MISTER FIRST and Profit Margin both ran very well behind Amber Knight over 3m at Down Royal last week with the former coming out best. That was only his fourth start over fences and though probably suited by a longer trip than this the testing conditions are in his favour and he can gain his first success. Rockers Field ran well over hurdles last time but his jumping has let him down over fences in the past.
