Verdict

This has brought out a good field for a Listed contest. QUICKPICK VIC easily landed his maiden before being supplemented for the Grade 1 Deloitte at Leopardstown where he came up against the likes of Vautour and The Tullow Tank. He couldn't match strides with them but shouldn't find anything of their quality here and can gain compensation. Empire Of Dirt's second to Faugheen at Navan in December was a good run but he's been beaten three times since and might prefer further. Dual bumper winner Pink Hat has been expensive to follow over hurdles and faces a stiff test in this company and Carriganog jumped moderately when well beaten by Smashing at Limerick. Champagne James is progressing nicely and beat a big field with ease over a longer trip here a month ago while winning point-to-pointer and bumper Martello Tower could be anything.
