A Premier handicap sprint with much dependent upon improvement levels made from two to three by a host of interesting types. Drombeg Banner will prove popular on the back of a winning reappearance at Cork and the extra furlong should suit, although a 10lb rise for that win seems harsh. Band Width is noted on handicap bow after a recent cosy Sligo maiden success but this poses a tougher question and therefore a chance is taken with MAGNIFFICO. He's admittedly more exposed than many of these but is battle-hardened and has a strong pull at the weights with Drombeg Banner on recent running. Ano Syra and Joyous Moment complete the shortlist.
