Verdict
The veteran Downforce ended a long losing run on heavy ground at the Curragh and though raised 6lb has won from much higher marks in the past. EARLS has won this for the past two years and completed a recent four-timer. He's still looking remarkably well treated and can continue his winning streak. Half Nutz has won three times around here so has to be on the shortlist and is very closely matched with Sounds Of Spring on their 1-2 here a year ago. Mickey The Steel had Jon Riggens a length behind at Navan but the latter just has the best of the weights this time and can reverse the form. Neo Soul has been running well enough to get involved while the ultra-consistent Curraheen Princess can never be disregarded.
