Rory Cleary stole a march on his rivals when dashing Lake George into a clear lead over 7f at Limerick last month and this trip should be even more to his mount's liking. He looks sure to go well as does Erins Gal, another who should be suited by dropping back in trip after showing very good pace over 7f last time. PIMLICO SOUND scored over 7f at Cork in May and found the soft ground against him at Roscommon last time. He has enough pace to have scored over the minimum trip at Down Royal last June and looks ready to regain the winning thread. The lightly-raced Stones Peak could provide the main threat as he's another who didn't enjoy testing conditions last time after scoring over 5f at Navan. Desert Al, who has run well at Dundalk this year, is another worth considering in an open affair.
