A Star Is Born, a full sister to Rip Van Winkle, was beaten out of sight on her debut at Leopardstown in November so it's difficult to know what to make of her though this isn't the strongest of maidens. Rebel Force has had an even longer break though she did better on her first and only appearance at the Curragh in September and would have been expected to have had a good second season. Tommy Stack has been unable to get a victory out of WANNABE BETTER so far but her run behind Just Pretending in a Group 3 at Leopardstown in May is by far the best achieved by any of these. She is unlikely to get a better chance and is taken to finally come good. Sariyfa was a disappointment at Dundalk but may prove best of the remainder.
