Canary Row and Vocal Music had a battle at Galway on Monday with the former just getting the better of the argument. However, neither have been really tested over this trip unlike Sea Of Rome, who landed a course and distance handicap in good style last month though is up 9lb. SONG OF NAMIBIA is well handicapped these days and showed his wellbeing by landing a charity race at Leopardstown last weekend so he gets the nod though the lightly-raced Roccia Bella is on the upgrade and was only caught in the closing stages at Gowran after winning there a month earlier. Art Of America came good over a mile at Gowran then stepped up over a longer trip there a week later when having plenty in hand. He's been hit with a 12lb rise so this looks more difficult though he looks certain to make a bold bid.
