Plenty of these have course and distance victories to their credit including Aspen Belle, who has won the last two of these. She isn't easily dismissed though looks on a high enough mark. The three-year-old Silver Service easily beat a huge field of handicappers at the Curragh last month and has continued in fine form despite a massive 13lb rise in the weights while Face Off has improved dramatically in her recent races and remains on a lowly mark. She should be winning soon as should ALOYSIUS LILIUS, who couldn't quite get to Shore Step at Navan but can take this from just 1lb higher. The three-year-old Strong Johnson was only just behind in that latter event and has the scope to do better with his rider's claim a major plus. Empire State has only won at Dundalk though his latest run when last of six here in July wasn't his form.
