In depth

Verdict

Storm Legend heads the official ratings but finished last in a Curragh Listed contest a week ago. Let's was well beaten in a premier handicap at the same fixture after scoring at Limerick while Shandra has found pattern race company beyond her after a debut victory at the Curragh in August. She finished just in front of ACANELLA in the 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown but the latter looks to have the scope to go on to better things. The latter remark also applies to Metaphorical, who had subsequent winner Emporio behind when landing a Listowel maiden. London Royal takes a step-up in grade after impressing in a Cork maiden.
