Freetown was a short-priced favourite for a Listowel maiden and though not quite getting the run of the race was disappointing. Bit Of Banter won here early last month then only just failed to hold off Ancient Sands at Dundalk on Friday so she looks certain to get into contention. VASTONEA rarely runs over a trip this far but he's been staying on strongly over 1m2f recently and Kevin Prendergast's grey can regain the winning thread from a favourable mark.
