Verdict

Half Nutz has won twice over the course and distance with some give in the ground so any rain would aid his cause. Aikido completed a long-range Dundalk double and may have found the ground too fast when sent to York in June. Big Gossey ran a fine race when a close fourth in a Curragh premier handicap last month but was just behind GRAMMATA (NAP) who was making strong headway when impeded at a crucial stage. Joey Sheridan takes over from an inexperienced apprentice and his claim can see Denis Hogan's filly home. The three-year-old Lord Dudley has been in excellent form and had plenty to spare at Fairyhouse though an 11lb rise makes this much tougher while September's Navan maiden winner Diamond Eyes might just find a couple of these too sharp on her return to action but Young Angel found the minimum too short at the Curragh after her victory over this trip at Sligo.
