A very moderate handicap and Matriarch looked to have every chance over the track and trip last time after a good run at Dundalk but didn't run as well as expected. Helvic was having just his fifth start when third on soft ground at Gowran and should be better suited by this quicker going. RATEEL is hardly consistent and has only won at Dundalk but he's been thereabouts enough times to suggest a race of this nature should be within his capabilities. Johnny Feane had his first Galway Festival winner last week and his French import Invernata is one to keep an eye on in the market.
