      Verdict

      Poet's Dawn has been progressive over 7f and a mile this year but is possibly a couple of pounds too high at present. REGULATOR (NAP) is overdue a win this season and, dropped a further pound since his latest third at Catterick, gets the vote today ahead of Havana Mariposa and How Bizarre, who finished 1-2 over course and distance last month. Chookie Dunedin has a chance at the weights but is better over 6f as he tends to race keenly. Armed Response finished tailed off when tried over this trip at Haydock in June but has had wind surgery since.
