      Verdict

      Hillgrove Angel ended last season prematurely having landed a double over shorter trips during the summer. Bumper and hurdles winner Zabeel Star won over 1m4f back on the Flat at Beverley last month but THREE CASTLES is rated higher than the latter over timber. He wasn’t beaten far when fourth over today’s distance at Ayr last time and looks capable of scoring off his current mark. Stablemate Maulesden May will be sharper for last month’s third here but Madeeh is penalised for winning at Catterick last week.
