Monsieur Kodi won a lower grade sprint over track and trip recently with Rock Melody back in fourth. Dun Na Sead travels over from Ireland having placed at Cork while Shalaa Asker has been in good form on the all-weather but hasn’t won on Turf in 17 previous attempts. The Thin Blue Line won this last year but stablemate Edward Cornelius finished behind runner-up LULLABY BAY in a conditions race here last autumn. Beaten only a nose on that occasion and with a recent outing in Listed company under his belt, the latter gets the vote on only his second start for Kevin Ryan.
