Verdict

Full Speed ended a long losing run with a win at Wolverhampton in January and Activate scored at the same track earlier this month. The latter is more consistent and is also preferred to course and distance winner Mason Hindmarsh, though the latter should improve for his recent comeback run. Platinum hasn't looked the force of old in three starts on Polytrack this year and has tumbled down the weights but Jim Goldie's runners both have claims. Forrest Flyer can race off the same mark as when winning at Ayr in August, but course winner HAWDYERWHEESHT may just edge this with a 5lb claimer helping his cause.
