In depth
Verdict
None of these can be ruled out with any confidence, but CRAVAT has been keeping good company since winning his debut at Beverley in May. His second in the Brian Yeardley back at the same track sets the standard and the remainder all need to improve to catch up with Mark Johnston's colt. Verbeeck may do so as he won his maiden at Sandown last month and that looks better form than Excelette's recent success at Chester. Winning debutants Al Shaqab and Class Monitor are also worth noting with improvement likely.
