      Verdict

A moderate end to the day's action at Musselburgh and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Suggest, who gets the nod over Tentsmuir and Gimme Shelter. The last mentioned has slipped in the handicap of late but has given little sign of encouragement, while Tentsmuir probably needs more help from the handicapper. Topweight Modulor is fairly treated on his best form but has shown little sign of that since coming to this country. Amber Moss seems little better than moderate, a comment that also applies to Nod Ya Head, so the vote goes to Suggest. Although without a win for nearly four years, the son of Midyan has at least shown a decent level of form in recent outings, in comparison to his rivals, and he looks the safest bet.
