Proven soft ground performer Interdit gets the nod here following some consistent performances since joining his new stable from Philip Hobbs. Following two excellent runs at Kelso on heavy ground the six-year-old ran slightly below par at Wetherby last time out but back on a softer surface he should have too many guns for his rivals and is a confident TEAMtalk selection. The wonderfully consistent Chergan rates as the main danger but although he has run well in bottomless conditions in the past he much prefers better ground. He rarely runs a poor race at this track. Indien Du Boulay is a frustrating character who at his best would take this event in his stride but he cannot be relied on and is best watched here. Ballystone will have his supporters following his win here recently but he does not look well handicapped and could be one to lay on the exchanges.
