KALANITI has strong claims having finished runner-up to the unbeaten La Bague Au Roi at Aintree on her return to action. A conditional takes 5lb off her back today and she is preferred to Dubai Shen. The latter looked all over the winner at Sedgefield when clear of the rest but jinked and unseated his rider in the closing stages while Irish challenger Canny Tom ran well for third at Killarney on his racecourse debut. Black Ink is another likely improver with Sammy B and Mutdula both newcomers to note for the future.
