        Verdict

        Several of these are still searching for their first win in a handicap including stablemates Foreign Diplomat and Spryt. Danny Tudhope rides the former despite Spryt going close at Wolverhampton last time and a third O'Meara runner, Terhaal, making a winning start at Haydock. But FULLON CLARETS may prove too good on the back of a length defeat at Thirsk last time. A couple of those behind have since won and Richard Fahey's charge also makes more appeal than Swift Approval and Sandown runner-up Harbour Patrol.
