      Verdict

      Sixcor had the measure of Gowanbuster at Ayr two runs ago and won again at the same track last time. Collateral form gives Val De Travers a chance on an earlier victory at Thirsk but Jim Goldie sent out last year’s winner and RORY (NAP) is preferred to stablemate Sound Of Iona. The former was beaten only a length in a higher grade sprint at Ayr last time, despite failing to get a clear run, and another bold bid is expected.
