Golden Odyssey can outclass her opponents here, the best of whom should be Diamond Sal, with Papawaldo one to note in the market. On the evidence so far, the rest will surely struggle to topple Golden Odyssey who goes so well for Tony McCoy. In fact he won on her four times so far, and it was no surprise when the champion travelled all the way up here for just the one ride in January as she did the business again. Described by connections as a tough sort, she is to be aimed at the EBF Mares' Final at Newbury in April and it will be a shock if she gets beat here on the way. Diamond Sal can give her most to do without being good enough based on recent efforts. She did show plenty of stamina when touched off by Marsh Run at Carlisle last time. Interestingly, she was trained by Mary Reveley when landing the Aintree Bumper last April, so son Keith will know what she is capable of and will know what the selection has to do to expose any chinks in their former inmate's armour. The rest make little appeal, but Papawalda is related to a couple of jumps winners and can improve in time. Golden Odyssey is hard to oppose and rates a solid bet.
