    Verdict

Rule For Ever gets the call here ahead of Tarabut, Chaka Zulu and Dune Raider. The Mark Johnston-trained selection comes here as an improved performer, having won two of his last three races. One thing he will do is keep on galloping and, being a course winner, might just get them all on the stretch on the sharp home bend. Tarabut has also won two of her last three races and, if you can forgive her a poor Newmarket run last time, would hold claims on previous evidence. Chaka Zulu is now actually five pounds better off for the neck that the selection beat him over 14 furlongs here in August, so holds a shout based on that. Finally, Dune Raider is four pounds better off for the two-and-three-quarter lengths he finished behind the selection at Ayr on September 16 over one-and-a-half furlongs further than today, so he too cannot be ruled out. However, we will stay with Mark Johnston's runner, Rule For Ever.
