        Verdict

        HARVEST DAY has slid 10lb down the weights since last successful but a recent placed effort over today’s trip at Thirsk suggests a return to winning ways is imminent. Glengarry finished behind Mick Easterby’s charge at Thirsk while Leo Davinci’s earlier win at Nottingham came over 6f but he’s won over this far in the past. The remainder are hard to recommend with the likes of Stronsay and Clay Regazzoni rare winners and the veteran Firmdecisions looking to exploit a tumble down the handicap.
