Verdict

Few make much appeal and HOLD ONTO THE LINE looks to have a good chance of going in again. He scored over course and distance on last month’s handicap debut and can defy a 4lb rise. Garde Des Champs disappointed in maiden company here last time and has undergone wind surgery since but Balranald has won a chase, though has yet to score over timber in 16 attempts. Maiden winner City Derby may improve fitted with a tongue-tie and cheekpieces for this.
