Freeman is taken to get back to winning ways at the expense of Burnley Al and Baylaw Star. The selection carries top weight after wins over course and distance and at York over one furlong shorter. He disappointed last time out when traveling to Galway in a competitive handicap but he can be forgiven that run and if reproducing his previous form he will take some beating. Burnley Al has been in decent form of late putting in some fair runs around here over this trip and over one mile over the past couple of months. He seems to like the track having won and been placed here in the past so he is to be noted in the betting market. Baylaw Star is another to note as he won here over seven furlongs back in April and has since then been dropped a few pounds in the ratings so if running up to form he can put in a bold bid. But for the winner we return to Freeman.
