Verdict

A good run from stablemate Hunza Dancer in the earlier maiden on today's card will boost confidence in the chances of COBBS QUAY. He can boast the best two-year-old form in this contest anyway having been beaten only seven lengths in a valuable Sales race at Newmarket in October and John Gosden's charge is bred to stay today's longer trip. Eternal Heart makes more appeal than stablemate Camporosso on the evidence of his debut third at Pontefract earlier this month and better is expected from Stetson back on turf after a disappointing effort on the Polytrack last month.
