Another trappy Class 6 handicap in which much may revolve around the ability of Alisia R to repeat her out-of-the-blue success here earlier in the month. The drop to this minimum trip was presumably the catalyst for the improvement and a 25/1 shock success. Izzy Clifton retains the ride and the pair have obvious claims if repeating that level of form. However, WAR ENSIGN has improved with each run since joining Tim Easterby from Ireland and makes plenty of appeal on the level of his last two starts and dropping back now to 5f should suit. Angel Eyes may have needed the run last time and veteran Your Pal Tal is an interesting Irish raider back from a break.
