In depth

Verdict

Mrs Bagerran went close at Catterick but remains a maiden after 29 attempts. A couple of these are looking to exploit a slide down the weights including Latin Five, who posted a better effort at Nottingham last time, but PRIMO’S COMET is preferred. The latter may be feeling his age now but was winning for the sixth time here when scoring off a 13lb higher mark last summer and it could be his turn again.
