    Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices chase and all would have a chance on their best form but the vote goes to Wuxi Venture. The gelding from the Richard Fahey yard won well last time out when defeating Farlington and although he has risen in the weights he is taken to score again with conditions in his favour. Lazy But Lively rates the main danger he has been in good form of late and was a fair second behind Temple Dog last time. However, his best form is with plenty of cut in the ground and he is not sure to get his favoured conditions here so for that reason he is opposed. Karajan is also worthy of respect but he has only one win to his name in 27 starts and he does not look the most straight forward of rides. The Tinker has become disappointing of late so for the winner we return to Wuxi Venture.
