Shamaheart won this race last term and the handicapper appears to be presenting Geoff Harker's gelding with a golden opportunity of staging a repeat off a 1lb lower mark. Rodrigo De Torres should be in good heart after his Catterick success but we prefer MOWHOOB. Twice a winner over course and distance, Jim Goldie's five-year-old appears capable of showing his form on any surface. Opt Out won here in June and a return to Musselburgh could be just the ticket. Mambo Fever has been sent off as favourite on her last two starts and David Griffiths' lightly raced filly appears sure to be thereabouts again. Gone With The Wind shaped with some promise for his previous connections and is noted at longer odds.
