Verdict
Ayr winner PRESENT LODGER continued his good progress over fences with a victory at Newcastle last month. He's taken to defy a further rise in the weights and is preferred to Rear Admiral. The latter went close at Market Rasen on Boxing day but has disappointed since while dual hurdles winner Silver Gent has struggled in both starts over fences so far. Endeavor has just the one win over fences in 19 attempts but still looks best of the rest on his recent second over course and distance.
